COVID - 19 Vaccinations ( Updated 1st May 2021)
We are pleased to announce that the COVID-19 vaccination program has sucessfully vaccinated over 3,800 of our patients. Patients are vaccinated as directed by the governments' national priority list.
Who will be vaccinated first?
We have contacted and completed 1st vaccinations for almost 100% of our patients who are in care homes, patients who are 50 years and over, frontline health and social care workers and those at higher risk of COVID.
All patients 40 years and over can book their first vaccinations via the national site which also gives access to local sites in Sevenoaks and Tonbridge.
Where will the vaccinations take place?
When your time comes to be invited you will be contacted by text, letter or telephone and offered to book via the national website booking service or call 119.
You may also be contacted by The Westerham Practice and offered an appointment at the practice or Sevenoaks Medical Centre. The dates and availability of the SMC and Westerham clinics are dependant on vaccine supply.

When will I be called?
The national priority groups are:
Group 1 and 2 - Care homes, patients 80 years and over and all patient facing health and social care workers
Group 3 - All patients 75 years and over
Group 4 - All those 70 years of age and over and extremely vulnerable individuals
Group 5 - All those patients 65 years and over
Group 6 - All those patients aged 16 to 64 with underlying health conditions or carers of vulnerable adults
Group 7 - All those patients 60 years and over
Group 8 - All those patients 55 years and over
Group 9 - All those patients 50 years an over
Please be patient as it will take time to vaccinate all our patients, you will be recalled either by telephone, letter or text. Please ensure that your contact details are up to date and it is helpful to have your mobile telephone number on our records.
