Travel Information
Where do I get my travel vaccines?
Your NHS App will show you whether your existing UK vaccinations are up to date. If you do not have access to the app the practice can supply to you a list of your vaccinations to date.
The NHS Travel Vaccinations page has advice and links on how to decide which vaccinations you may need for travelling. Not all travel vaccinations can be provided at the practice. Those that we can provide for free are because they protect against diseases thought to represent the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country are:
- Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera
If you have been to a travel clinic or have reviewed the travel information websites and require one or all of the vaccinations listed; polio, typhoid, hep A or cholera please complete the request form using AccuRx and we will contact you within 48 hours. We advise that all travel vaccinations requests are submitted up to 6 weeks before travel and it is strongly advised to have the vaccines at least two weeks before your date of departure.
If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel, please complete our online travel form via AccuRx.
